HUTT DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL
The scholars of ths Hutt District High School were taken by train to Maidstone Park for a day's outing on Friday. The* weather was perfect, and a most enjoyable day was spent. A feature of the gathering was the attendance of a large number of the parents of the pupils. Altogether over seven hundred travelled by train. Mr. M'Dougall, chairman of the school committee, with several members, Mr. Tamblyn, headmaster, and all the members of the staff, were present. Sports and games were organised by. the teacherSj and prizes were presented to the winners of the various events. A good supply of soft drinks, fruit, and sweets was provided.
