CARTERTON, Ist March. The concluding matches of the Wairarapa Rifle Association's meeting were fired at Papawai in dull but good weather. 'Che conditions were excellent for shooting till well on in the afternoon. Tho prize-money was paid in full. The Wairarapa Match was the best yet fired on the Papawai range since the formation of the association. The aggregate was won by Piper, of Christchurch, with 368.
