A meeting of the Management Committee of the Wellington BjUgby Union was held last evening, Mr. W. F. Hcrnig, presiding. Others present were : Messrs. O. J. Jackson, A. J. Griffiths, W. W. Cook, J. N. Millard, E. Perry, J. Prendewille, E. Ward., H. Buck, and I. J. M'Comisky. Reports were made regarding the progress of improvements at Athletic Park.
A request was received from the Railways Traffic Oftios for the use of Athletic PaTk for a cricket match. Owing to the present state or thei groondi, it was decided that the request ooulij not be granted. The Oriental Football Club's a,pplication for the use of Athletic Park pn, Easter Saturday afternoon, the occasion of^ its annual match with the Kairrau. Club, Wanganui, was granted. Applications for the nee of the Park wei'e also granted to the Wellington! Club, for friendly games, against the Christeliuroh and Pinites Clubs on Easter Saturday a)td Monday 'mornings, ant] to the Milrist' Brothers Old Boys' Association, for v i g;t,me against the Obristchurch Marist Old Boys' senior team cm Easter Saturday. The annual report and the balancesheet, for jjrgsehta'lign. to the annual mcatinff on tjve 15th March, -were considered. ■ ■ .
