Seven, assailants attempted to assassinate Ha/Chiro Saionji, son. of Marquis Saionji, a former Premier, and head of the Japan<sse delegation to,, the Paris Peace Conference. He drove them off with a sword. Six of the assailants wero arrested. Saionji expects to accompany • the Crown frince 911 his tour abroad.
