MELBOURNE, This Day. The Sugar Controller states that, purchases of. Cuban sugar represent £25,----OCO. A hundred thousand tons has been obtained from, vai-ious parts of the world. Importations will now cease as a 'heavy Australian crop is in view, which will give a sufficient supply for all Commonwealth requirements, and provide a carry-over to next year.
