ELECTION OF COMMITTEES.

The Methodist Conference assembled at 10 a.m. to-day under tho j>residency of the Rev. AY. Grigg. Letters of congratulation were directed to be forwarded to Rev. W. Council 4-ri' attaining his 'diamond '.iubilee m tho ministry, and to Revs. G. Bond, T..G. Carr, H. R. Dewsbnry, and 'J. Thomas on attaining their jubilee. The conference then adjo'irned to deal with committee work and report to the open session on Saturday, morning. Earlier in the session.
