ELECTION OF COMMITTEES.

The Methodist Conference assembled at 10 a.m. to-day under tho j>residency of the Rev. AY. Grigg. Letters of congratulation were directed to be forwarded to Rev. W. Council 4-ri' attaining his 'diamond '.iubilee m tho ministry, and to Revs. G. Bond, T..G. Carr, H. R. Dewsbnry, and 'J. Thomas on attaining their jubilee.
