SHORTT'S THEATRE.
The feature on to-night's programme at Shortt's Theatre is entitled "An Alien,"'in which, G«orge Beban takes the leading role. George Beban has made a speciality of impersonating Italiancharacters, and he does his best work in this picture, which, by the way, was written by himself and'was founded on the well-known poem "The Sign of the Rose." It has been one of the most successful plays of the past two or three years in America.
