MELBOURNE, This Day. Obituary.—Sir Frank Madden, exSpeaker of the Assembly, and brother of the late' Sir John Madden, former Lieutenant-Goverrior and Chief Justice". [Sir Frank Madden was elected Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Victoria in 3904. He was born in Ireland in 1847. He first entered the Victorian Parliament as member £>r Eastern Suburbs in 1894. Though a lawyer, ho was regarded as an authority on agriculture and irrigation.]
