MACROOM COUNCILLORS ARRESTED

LONDON, 21st January.
'Police auxiliaries raided the board room of the Macrcom District Council 1, and arrested all the councillors, tlia county surveyor, aaid deputy surveyors. Subsequently all but five were released. Thomas Lawless, an ex-Irish Guardsman, was shot dead in his bed at Matoboro. It is alleged that tho murderer was in uniform.
