TROOPS ACTIVE IN TIPPERARY

LONDON, 21st January.
There is great military activity im South Tipperary, and dozens of arrests, have been made. Roads have been, entrenched in several districts, in order to hamper the forces of the Crown, which are compelled to fill up the- trenches as they go along. The military are accompanied "by hostages and female searchers.
