YACHTS AND MOTOR-BOATS '
ANNIVERSARY REGATTA.
The weather is a happy medium for the Wellington Anniversary Regatta, with a moderate southerly breeze, smooth water., and very pleasant overhead conditions. The big events of the day are to be. the general handicaps for yachts, for which ,' eighteen entries have been received/and 'the open handicap for motor boats, both to be decided this afternoon. . i : ■ The official starter, timekeeper, ;i.nd judge of yachting events is Mr. R.
