(II TILKORAPH.—MiII ASSOCIAWOK.) ' • .;■ DUNEDIN., 20th January.^ ' The sale was continued this morning. The offering consisted of star lots /only. It was a dragging sale! Many buyers were absent. The opinion was expressed in wool circles that the offering of large quantities in the present state of the market was not justifiable, and that the offering should be limited to quantities buyers were likely to lift, say, five or six thousand bales. The latter part of every'sale held so far has: dragged. INVERCARGILL, 20th January. For tho first fr-.-a wool sale at lnvercargi 11 since the commandeer,, the entry comprises 5629 bales. It ie stated that it considerable, quantity is being held jn the hope.of better prices at the Februaiy sales. The quality mostly ranges 40'5..t0 48's, above which very lew lots ar« offering in good condition. The sale begins- to-morrO'V morning..
