The Early Settlers and Historical Association will meet on the Observatory Reserve, Kelburn, to celebrate the 81fit anniversary of the founding of Port Nicholson, Wellington. An invitation is extended to all pioneer settlers to meet there- on Saturday afternoon, at 2.30. Afternoon tea will bo served at the Kelburn Kiosk, tickets for which will be 13----sued'by the association. Should tho weather bo unfavourable for an outdoor gathering, the meeting- will take placo in tho Kjosk. . \ This year there are 647,000 fewer cows and nearly 1,750,000 fewer sheep in Great Britain than in 1919. .
