ivOTOUUA, This Day. There was a disastrous fire. last night at Ohinemutu, Rotorua. A house- ,of lour rooms was destroyed, and - thvee> children, ten, eight, and six years., lost thair lives. The father, Uita Makai, is dead,.and the mother married again. The woman's sister, aged twenty, was in charge. She left the children in bed, and went -to the pictures. Nobody seemed to know the children were inside. Ono body was found under the bed. j -•■■■ The origin of the fire is a mystery. There is no insurance.
