GISBOBNE, 18th January. At a meeting ' of. the Poverty Bay Cricket Association, a- telegram was received from the Wairarapa Executive stating that it would'be unable to get a team to visit Gisborne this vteek, as arranged,' to play the Hawks Cup fixture, and asking for a postponement till the s.ame days next week. It was resolved to telegraph the Wairarapa Association that if the original dates were not adhered to Manawatu would have first claim.
