The appeal of Colonel Malone against the sentence of six months' imprisonment for sedition has been, dismissed, with costs. ■ ■■'■'■ ■' ■
[In consequence of a violent speech hehad made in-the Albert Hall, Colonel Malone was arrested under the Defence of the Realm Act arid tried on a charge of sedition. He was sentenced to six months' imprisonment in the Second Division, and against the sentence notice of appeal was given. Colonel Malone was also bound over to be of good behaviour for a year in his own recognisance of £2000, and two sureties of £1000 each.]
