LABOUR MEETING
Thero was a record attendance at the Labour meeting in the Empress ITieatro last night. Miss Mary M'Carthy's lecture on "Lessons from Abroad" wai dolfvored in a. manner which proved the speaker a critica-1 observer of international topics of importauco to workers. The exposure of tho methods adopted by Mr. Churchill against the Bolshoviks, said Mies M'Carthy, thoroughly justified the origin of tho Council of Action. Musical and vocal items vrero capably rendered by Mica Phyllis Read, Miss Freda Bassin, and Mr. A. Woodward. Mr. Reginald Rex's recitations were well received. Mr. W. E. Crome was the accompanist.
