ALLEGED THEFTS FROM TOTALI SATOR INVESTORS

. AUCKLAND, Bth October. The alleged theft of money from investors on the totalisator at Avondals races last week was .the subject of complaint to the detectives on duty. It i» alleged - that' in several instances investors purchasing a £1 ticket for which they tendered a £5 note did not receive any change. On the second day of th« meeting .detectives were set to watchj with the result that four men will appear at the ±'olice Court on Monday in connection with the affair.
