SYDNEY, This Day.
The Chief Justice of New South Wales declined io accede to the Government's request to make available a Judge to inquire into the question o£ the proposed increase of salaries of members of Parliament. The refusal is gr6unded on the contention that the Judiciary should not be involved in political matters.
