Mr. W. Barton, of Featherston, who has been visiting America, has returned to New Zealand.
Mr. A. Leigh Hunt has been elected a member of the Wellington Stock Exchange.
His Honour Sir John Salmond' returned to Wellington from Auckland yesterday.
Mr. Culford Bell, who acted as judge of elocution at the Dunedin Competitions, returned this morning.
Mr. J. Parker, editor of tho Evening Poet, who was one of the New Zealand representatives at the Empire Press Conference in Canada, was a passenger by the Niagara from Vancouver to Auckland, and returned to Wellington this morning.
