ROWING
SEASON OPENS TO-MORROW,
The interest Being taken in rowing nnd the extent of preparations for the opening of the season, point to a very successful start to-morrow afternoon. Tiki plant at the sheds is in good trim, and much enthusiasm is being shown by the various cvews selected to participate in the opening inter-club races. With a continuance of the present ■weather conditions a good afternoon's sport should eventuate. The Wellington Club is to be represented by the following crews:—Senior four.". C. Symonds (stroke), A. M'Ciiulay (3), B. Hayes (2). J. Thomas (bow) ; junior foui-p. J. R. lial^leish (stroke), K. Tbomath (3), V. Baker (2), W. Power <(bow) ; youths' fours, F. Bognuda (sti'oko), T. Porter (3), C. Leslie (£). G. Grace (bow) ; junior double sculls, 0. Goddard (stroke), W. Hoare (bow) ; senior double sculls, H. M'Kinlay, (stroke), G. Wilson (bow) ; veteran fours, to bp chosen to-morrow. The Star Club's cvews hnve been published.
The Wellington Club is arranging an attractive programme for the season, and crews are to be sent to the various regattas in the Dominion.
