THE KORUNAH'S CREW
NO TRACE DISCOVERED

SUVA, 6th October. The search parties have returned to port and report that no trace was found of the missing crew of the wrecked ketch Korunah. It is feared they are lost.
[The Suva correspondent of tho Jfew Zealand HeraJd (Auckland) telegraphed at the end. of last month the first report of the wreck,- when the identity of the vessel was still in doubt. On Friday, 24th September, there wa« a heavy storm, and heavy soas raged until Sunday, 'when a ceiooner was discovered bottom up on the reef. It was not until Tuesday that a party Tea-ched the reef. There was no sign of life, nor of the lifeboat. CoaJ was lying about the reef. A hole was cut in the bottom, and access .'ibtamed to the cabin, where, jn a coat porfcot, was found a captain's certificate, but the name, as telephoned to Suva., could not be property heard. The wreck ■was concluded, to be that of the Korunah, which left Newcastle about the middle- of August with coal for Suva and was overdue. There were eight people on board.]
