A number of builders and contractors in ■Wellington, together with employees eiigagtd ir, the. building trade, have • formed a co-operative building company, '.vhioli VJ'ill operate on profit-sharing lines. i It is the intention of the company to ovect houses- for the Government, municipalities, or private individuals. The company will be prepared to 1 tender for t!;e work, instead of carrying it out on the percentage basis, believing that this is the proper method when public money is beint; utilised. Tha full particulars of the scheme are not vet available, but will be made public In due course.
