HEDJAZ REFUSES TO SIGN
ARAB KING'S AMBITION.
(Received August 12, 11 a.m.) PARIS, 11th August. The King of the Hedjaz has refused to sign the Turkish Treaty. The Matin says that the King insists on Syria being given to the Emir Feisul, and 'indicates his ambition to create a vast Arab kingdom, in which his sons, in Syria and Mesopotamia, will only be his lieutenants.
