TURKISH TREATY
THE GALLIPOLI CEMETERIES

(AUSTRALIAN - NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION,) LONDON, yth August. The Turkish Treaty was signed at Viviers this afternoon. Mr. Andrew Fisher signed on behalf of Australia, and a member of the British delegation signed for New Zealand, owing to Sir Jamea Allen's absence. The only part of the Treaty directly interesting to Australia and New Zealan« is the part providing for the cession of territory requiredjfor cemeteries on Gallipoli, which Sir James Allen has described as emiitently satisfactory.
