THIRD-GRADE "REP." MATCH.
As a "curtain-raiser" to the match between Sydney University and New Zealand University at Athletic Park on the Bth September, the Wellington Rugby Union has arranged for a third-grade representative match to be played between the "A" and "B" grades of the third division. No transfers are to be granted from junior to third or from third to fourth class hereafter, and no transfers of any nature will be granted after Saturday next.
The first round of tho competition for the Samuel Cup was played at Petone yesterday, when West defeated Main School by 10 points to 8.
