Captain Biggins, in command of the Ariosto, reported on his arrival at Lyttolton this morning that he had, on 10th July, spoken to the American barquentine Forest Bron, thirty-six days out from Newcastle, New South Wales, and wishing him to report to Honolulu. / 27th July. The departure of the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Paparoa for Southampton ana London, via Panama, has beep fixed for 3 o'clock to-morrow afternoon, not daybreak as was previously announced. The F. and S. liner Northumberland arrived at Auckland this morning from New York, via Panama. She will inter come to^Wellington. ' ' The Union Company advises' that the Navua, ■which is relieving the Mokoia in the ferry run will now leave Auckland on Wednesday, for Napier and Wellington. She is to sail from here on Saturday for Lytelton and Dunedin. Tho Devon left Sydney on Friday for Tokojnaru Bay, Gisborne, Napier, Wellington, and lyttelton, to load for New York. On completion of loading she will return to Wellington, and will sail on l«th August for New Y6rk, yia Panama, " The S.S. and A. liner Pakeha arrived at sflrt Chalmers yesterday morning from Brisbane to commence Homeward loading. The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Kaikoura is to sail from Montreal on sth August for Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin, Melbourne, and Sydney. She is duo at Auckland about 15th September. The barques Eona and Eaupo of the Scnles Hue are .at present at Newcastle loading coal for Wellington. The A. and A. Line's steamer Ariosto arrived at Lyttelton yesterday from New York, via Panama. After discharging a part cargo, she will leave Lyttelton for Dunedin and Australian ports with the remainder on 29th Angusi. Tho Commonwealth and Dominion liner Tort Dlnison arrived at Napier on Sunday from' London, via Australian ports and Auckland. After discharging 4000 tons of cargo at Napier, the vessel -will load at Lyttelton, returning later to Wellington, end sailing for London, via Panama, on SStb August)
