IN DIVORCE
A brief sitting in Divorce was held by His Honour the Chief Justice (Sir Eobert Stout) this afternoon. On the application of Mr. H. E. Evans the decree nisi in the petitions of Annie M. Fitzherbert against Sidney W. Fitz■herbert, of New Plymouth, was made absolute. . . Corroborative evidence was given in the adjourned case of John William Matthews v. Mary Matthews, a petition for divorce on the ground of desertion, and his Hono_ur granted a decree nisi, to be made absolute in three months. Mr. R. H. Webb appeared for petitioner. After hearing evidence, his Honour granted a decree nisi, also the petition, of Myra Campbell against Norman: Campbell on the ground of desertion. Mr. P. W. Jackson appeared for the petition.
