SALE OF FREE WHEAT CASE

DUNEDIN, This Day. The hearing of charges against Steven and Co. and W. J. lxive, in regard to the sales of free wheat, was concluded in the Supreme Court to-day, Mr. Justice Sim saying he would take time to consider his decision.
The death hm occurred in Auckland of Lieutenant Balfour Nixon, who left NewZealand with the Main Body. Ho was bom in Auckland 28 years ago, and before the-war was in the Government Valuation Office in Christchurch. He was invalided home in September, 1917, as the result of trench fever and shellshock and never recovered.
