WORKERS' CAR FARES
The Wellington Painters' Union at its quarterly, meeting resolved to protest to the Government against the City Council's proposal to abolish workers' concession tickets. The meeting expressed no opposition to an extension of the concession to other workers, but was very strongly opposed to the withdrawal of existing privileges.
