French observers say that an effort to ereatle an official Turkish army, capable, of opposing the. combination of the Nationalists and the Reds has failed. Even if the Constantinople Government signs the Peace Treaty, the Allies must depend; upon the Greeks to enforce if). (AUS. AND N.Z. CABLE ASSN. AND RBDTER.) (Received June 11, 10 a.m.) LONDON, 10th June. Speaking in the House of Commons, Mr. Bonar Law said that Britain would not take the mandate for Armenia.
