Die annual meeting of the Palmerston North branch of the Farmers' Union, was held to-day. Mr. J A.. M'Leaney was re-elected president, and Messrs. D. Thomas and J. Gillespie were appointed vice-presidents. Mr. A. Buchanan wss elected delegate to the Manawatu Su,bProvincial Union, and Mr. H. Vile" delegate to the Wellington Provincial Union. Mr. W. Hunter resigned from the position of secretary, aud Mr. G. W. C. Moon was appointed to fill the positing.
