APPEAL TO PRIME MINISTER

Mr. W. A. Veitch, M.P., has sent the following telegram to the Prime Minister : "I feel su re that you will agree that it is desirable to send the N.Z.E.F. crew, which won the inter-Allied race at Paris iast year in your presence, to the Olympic games, also Leslie Loveday, the (Bisley) King's Prizewinner. These men made 1 a worldwide reputation, and are worthy of an- opportunity of upholding New Zealand's honour at Antwerp. Will the Government • find the necessary finance?"
The hon. secretary (Mr. R. W. Shallcrass) of the Citizens' Committee, set up to raise funds to send a New Zealand team to the Olympia- games at Antwerp, acknowledges the receipt of the following donations : Levin and Co., £10 10s; A.
