HIS MAJESTY'S.
r The current change at His Majesty's Theatre introduces some new performers to Wellington vaudeville lovers, and features other favourites in new items. The Stanhope Revue Company supplies the first part of the programme, and among the individual acts are those of the Matanas, a duo of charming singers; Webber and Shaw, melody artists ; Keely and Aldous, dance specialists ;and Coco and Evans, hand balancers. .
A notice is published to-day asking all holdsrs of money and tickets in connection : with Mr. W..W. Crawford's complimentary concert to hand in tame at Mr. Norman Aitken's shop, in ordftr that the committee may wind up.the business in connection with the concert.
The sacred cantata, " Olivet to Calvary " (Maunder), was performed at St. Hilda's Church last evening by St. Hilda's Choir. Miss Zoe Bland gave a tasteful rendering of the soprano work, the tenor solos were admidably sung by Mr. Ernest Lewis, and Mr. L. C. Walker's interpretation of the baritone numbers was also most enjoyable, In the chorus work, the choir, under direction of Mr. C. K. Proctor, contributed in no small measure to the success of the perfornmnre. Mr. J, Allen ably accompanied on the organ.
