There was again a big yarding of all classes of stock, excepting lambs, which are now coming forward in reduced numbers. The market generally was firm, though not so good as at last sale.

Store Sheep.—Slightly smaller yarding, which met with a weaker demand. Forward lambs 20s to 23s 6d, ordinary 15s to 19s 6d, culls 7s to 14s 6d, ©we lambs 20s to 265, good two-tooth ewes 31s 6d to 365, ordinary two-tooth 23s 6d to 31s, cull two-tooth 14s 3d to 22s 6d. good four, six; and eight-tooth 30s to oss, ordinary ditto 26s 6d to 295, low■.•oiiditioned ditto 19s to 23s 6d. failingnouthed ewes 16s to 21s 6d, somidQouthed/22s 9d to 30s, good six and sight-tooth 27s 6d to 29s 6d,. two-tooth • vethers 27s 6d to 30s 6d, ordinary two-'-ooth 21s 6d to 275. ,

Fat Sheep.—^A large yarding, which, 'ncluded a number of pens of excellently linished ■wethers. The tops of one draft touched 565, and several others exceeded 50s. The Easter trade showed a later demand from bdtcheara, and in spite of the smaller proportion going to freezing buyers the market was fair throughout. Extra prime wethers 44s to 565, prime 38s 9d to 43s 3d, medium 33s 6d to 375, lighter 28s 4d to* 32s $d, extra prime ewes to 44s 9d, prime 37s to 425, medium 32a to 35a 6d, lighter 24s 3d to 30s 6d.

Fat Cattle.—The sale was good for prime quality until near the finish, when values eased. Freezing buyers were less in evidence : than usual. f Extra prime steers £24;7s 6d to £26 10s, prime £19 15s to £24, medium £15 10s to £19, lighter £8 to £14, prime heifers £13 to £16 ss, ordinary £7 10s to £12 10s, prime cows £13'10s to £17 10s, ordinary and inferior £7 to £12 15s. Dairy Cattle.—A big entry, which met with good inquiry. Heifers £10 to £16, and second and third calvers £10 10s to £20. Store Cattle.—Three-year-old steers to £10 15s, cows to £9, bulk to £11. Vealers.—A.good entry and a strong demand. Runners made to £8. Pigs.—A medium entry met with fair demand. Extra heavy baoonars to £8 13s 6d, heavy: £7 to £7 10s, ordinary £5 15s to £6 15s (average price per 1b IOJd to lid), heavy porkers £4 10s to £5 7s, ordinary £3 15s to £4 5s (average price per 11) la OJd), choppers £6 to £9 15s.

There was a big yarding of store pigs, for which the demand was slack, there being a drop in values. Best stores' £3 9s to £3 15s, medium £2 8s to £2 18s, small stores 28s to 455, weaners 14s Cd to 255.
