' OTAKI, This Day. Messrs. T. Thorner and G. and B. Swensson were driving along, the Otaki Gorge-road on Tuesday when' the horse went over a very, steep embankment, with disastrous,results to the vehicle. Luckily the Swensson brothers escaped injury, but Thorner had his collar-bone injured. Mr. A. A. Landall has sold his farm at Ran'giuru to Mr. ,M. Giddens, and Mr. Smith (Levin) has sold his place to Mr. Sutclifle, while Messrs. ■Griffith Bros. (Otaki) have purchased Mr. Stratton-'s farm near 'Levin. -■ TheVbusiness people of Levin have decided to form a Chamber of Commerce. Some ,700 gallons of milk daily are being received at the Levin factory. : A Levin farmer reports a profit of £240 for the "past year on five breeding sows. ...
