Lilian Plater was finod £1 for drunkenness _ and £2 for having broken her prohibition order
William Eaton, who had created a disturbance' in a restaurant in Lamb-ton-quay, and had used disgusting language within the hearing of pedestrians in the street, was sent to gaol for a month. Eaton had been previously convicted on similar charges. Henrick Hansen admitted a third offence of drunkenness within the statutory period of six months. He was ordered to pay a fine of £1 or to go to gaol for three days.
John Tyman was convicted on. charges of drunkenness and having used obscene language in Willis-street, and was ordered to pay fines totalling £5 ss, or to go to gaol for eight days. John Drake was also convicted of like offences, and was fined ss, in default 24 hours in gaol, on the first charge, and was sent to gaol for 14 days on the second, as lie had previously been in trouble of the same kind.
