CRISIS IN DENMARK
GENERAL LOCKOUT BY EMPLOYERS. (AUSTRALIAN - NEW .ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received March 31, 12.40 p.m.) COPENHAGEN, 27th March. The Danish Employers' Association has decided upon a general lockout, to commence on 9th April, because of the continuous demands of the workers for increases in wages. All factories will be closed, except those essential to the life of the nation. . It is expected that the Labour Paity will order a general strike.
