HARMONIC SOCIETY TO-NIGHT.

A final reminder is given of the concert to be held in the large Town Hall at 8 to-night by the Wellington Harmonic Society, under the conductorship of Mr. H. Temple White. Gounod's "Messe Solennelle" will be sung by a choir of over 50 picked voices, with Miss Teresa Jl'Enroe as, soprano soloist, Mr. James Searie as tenor, and Mr. Frank Charles as bass. The harmonic quartette and the society will give unaccompanied items, and Messrs. Harold Whittle (piano) and H. Temple White (grand organ) will play an arrangement from Weber/s "Der Freischutz" for piano and organ, an item quite new to Wellington audiences, but one.which will undoubtedly prove very popular.
