BATHS FOR THORNDON
An influential deputation of Thorndori residents is being organised for the purpose of • discussing with the City Council on Thursday night the question of baths for the northern end of the city- The swimming community of Thovndon is decidedly against the erection '■ of tepid freeh water baths, and will agitate for the construction of baths on the harbour foreshore adjacent to the Thorndon-quay •tram termirtus. It is submitted that an excellent site could be secured there for an open-air bath. The deputation oh Thursday night will also protest against the immediate closing of ■ the present baths at Tho'rndon. .! , .. ■
