PRESBYTERIAN BIBLE CLASSES' SPORTS

The annual sports' meeting of the Presbyterian Young Men's Bible Classes of Wellington was held at Kai-ori Park on Saturday afternoon. The entries were large, and the various events were all keenly contested. Th^re was a good attendance of spectators. Points were awarded in each event, and the totals at the end of the day were as follow : — Kent-terrace, 46; "Kelburn, 37; St. John's, 34; St. James's, 26. Other classes entered, but were not successful in a gaining points. The winners in tha principaJ events were : High jump, G. A. Nieholls (Kent-terrace); long jump, Scyllie (St. John's); 100 yds open, J. Johnston (Kent-terrace); 100 yds junior, Campbell (Kelburn); 220 yds, open, Smyllie (St. John's); 220 yds junior, G. A. Nieholls (Kent-terrace) ; 440 yds, open, J. Johnston (Kent-terrace); 440 yds, junior, Campbell (Kelburn); half-mile, open, J. Johnston (Kent-terrace); halfmile junior, Campbell (Kelburn); one mile, open, J. Johnston (Kent-terrace), 1, D. Todd (St. James's), 2, H. Brooker (St. James's), 3; one mile, junior, Campbell (Kelburn), 1; M'Cluskey (Kent-terrace), 2; Swarm (Kent-terrace), 3; Three-mile, open, D. Todd (St. James's), 1; .Rose (Kdlbuni), 2; L.
