GOLF SEASON
MIKAMAR CLUB.
The Miramar Golf Club's opening of the season took place on Saturday Just, when the attendance included' many visitors. A mixed foursome was played and the best cards were returned by Mrs. C. N. Beasley and Mr. o.' J. Wilson and Miss M. Seed and Colonel J. G. Hughes, each.of whom.reported one down f.c the "colonel." After the. play the prizes won during the year were presented liy the president, Mr. J. P: Firth. Tea- was served in the .dining room to a-large gathering. The day wns a. mcfi suecwiisil oue and augurs well for the ensuing sc-ascn. The links were never previously in such splendid order so early in. the reason.
