Murphy Bros. Pipeworks, playing against Imperial Supplies, won by seven wickets and.lll runs. Imperial Supplies made 165 runs (Rhodes 24, Taylor 66 not out, Good 23, and. Wood 29). ''V. Harris and S. Smith shared the bowling for Pipeworks. Mufpuy Bros.' Pipeworks responded with 276 runs for three wickets (Buck 13, R. Murphy 10", Binnie 65 not out, and H. Murphy 73 not out). Marist defeated Korth by an innings and 19 runs. Marist's innings realised 162, the best scorers being Galvin 32, Be Muth 29 not out, Burke 23, Hopkins 22, and Hayden 22. Old Boys, first innings, 193 (E. Smith 74, J. Bull 26, N. Smith 20, Eton 15, Morton 13, Souper 13). Bowling for East Lewis took three wickets for 18, J. 'Hutching.? two for 20, J. O'Sullivan two for 45, W, Wighton one for 27, B. Gibson one for 31. East won by 57 runs.

Playing against l Jetone, Institute in their first innings made 115 runs (Burt 43, Guise 21, Hall 12). In their second Minings 61 runs were compiled for the loss of four wickets, the best scorers being Griffiths, (not out) 17 and Ward 17 Petone's first innings realised 143 (Parrant 55, Ambler 16. Pointon 15, Martin 13, Borrows 12, Edlin 10). In their second innings Petone were dismissed for 51-(Martin 11).-. Bowling-for Institute, Solway and Ward secured the wickets, and for Petone Shanahan . and Parrant shared the honours.
