On 18th November tho jury for th« second timo failed to agree on a- verdict in the case against James Reynolds Hayne ahd Norman Noylon.on a charge of using an instrument for illegal purposes, and on the application of the Crown, Mr. Justice Sim made an order for tho third trial of accused at the noxt criminal sittings in February.
Last week tho Crown prosecution filed a-summons for a change of vonuo of thetrial to Wellington, and to-day Mr. Justice Sim ma-do an order for the trial to take placo at tho next criminal sittings at Wellington.
