NEW PLYMOUTH, Bth Dec. The Supreme Court opened to-day, before the Chief Justice, Sir Robert Stout, who congratulated , the district on the lightness of the calendar. A native woman named Mary M'Lean was found guilty of bigamy. Neville James Crozier, acquitted on charges of breaking and entering a dwelling with intent to commit a crime, pleaded guilty to committing common assault on a young girl while in the dwelling. Jack Johnston pleaded guilty to charges of breaking and entering. Sentences in all cases were deferred till to-morrow morning. Agnes M'Artney was granted a decree nisi against Angus M'Artney on the grounds of desertion.
