Senior Grade. Institute A defeated Seatoun by an innings and 88 runs. Seatoun batted first and made 45 (Black 21). Institute replied with 136 runs. The principal scorers were :A. Douglas 57, Greig 30, Barr 13, and Richardson 11. Seatoun in their second innings were all out for 3. W. Tucker (7 for 2) was the best bowler. Institute B lost to St. Thomas by. 90 runs on tho first innings. Scores : St. Thomas, 159 (Rogers 62, Payne 14, Miller 21, Turney 14). Institute, 69 and 66 for five wickets (Aitken 29 and 33, Macklin 25). Junior A. Institute A, 190 for five wickets (Dempster 100 not out, Davies 28, Billy 27) beat Institute B, 47 and 50 (Burbidge 12, Cauton 10) by an innings and 93 runs. Junior B. Institute C defeated Marist N by five wickets. Institue D lost to V.M.C.A. by six wickets. , » • Institute E lost to St. Patrick's O by an innings- and five runs. Institute F lost to St. Paul's by an innings. Institute C lost to V.M.C.A. by 46 runs. V.M.C.A. 90. and 70 for six wickets (H. Price 31 and 43 not out), defeated St, Thomas's Junior A, 78 and 72 (Cross 20, Escher 22 and 12, O'Connor 17, AVhitwell 14) by four wickets. St. Thomas's Junior C defeated V.M.C.A, D by five wickets. Petone secured a three-point win by an

innings and 43 runs from Rangers. Rangers batted first, and secured 26 runs. Petone replied with 114 (Burd 52, Allan 21).. Rangers went in again and were dismissed for 45 runs.
