Marist won from Thomdon by ten wickets. Marist's first innings realised 411. -Thorndon's two innings were '215 and 207, leaving Marist- 12 runs behind, which were obtained for no wickets. For Thorndon,- King batted well for 86, Humphries 40 and 38, Roberts 59, Bolton 35,. Brisbane 23, and Ellict-t 20. Tho previous Saturday they had lost four wickets for 369 runs, and on' resuming they reached tho grand total of 741, thus bettering the provincial record they registered against Old Boys. North, in their second innings, made 46 runs (Moss 15, and Ward 10). Bowling for Murphy Brothers, Smith secured three wickets for four runs, and Keys four wickets for 39 runs. For Murphy's tho principal scores were :V. Harris, 100; Church, 112; Bimiie, 66; Erskine, 171; and H. Murphy, 62 runs. 'Murphy Brothers thus won by an innings and 644 runs. Base Records and War Expenses, in their match with Hutt, junior, secured a three.pom. win, defeating tlie latter by 95 runs. The scores were: Base Becoads, first innings, 179; second innings, 56. Hutt Junior, first innings, 88; second innings, 52. For the former, Redmond made 85 and 17, Coleman lE, M'Lead 10, and Shaw 14, not out. E, M'Cardell took seven wickets ft* 46 runs, and H. M'Cardell twelve for 59.

In their second innings against Petone, North made 137 (Aitken, not out, 30, Geattie 29, Aaniodt 26, Shaw 11, Adams 10). Shanahan, Pan-ant, and Ambler bowled best for Petone. Petone required 101 runs to secure a three-point victory, and this they accomplished with the loss of four wickets. Hie. best scorers wave Martin, not out, 27, Shanahan 27, O. B. Thomas, not out, 21. Bowling for North, Aamodt and Aitken shared the honours.

Imperial Supplies scored a two-point win over Old Boys. Scores : Imperial Supplies, first innings, 308 (Lynam 86, Granger 59, Rhodes 33, Taylor 25, Good 21, Chapman 24, Dunlop 10, Battersby 11). Bowling for Old Boys, Benjamin secured two wickets, Trott two wickets, and Boseley three wickets. Old Boys in their first innings made 272 (E. Smith 32, Morton 80, N. Smith 87, Trott 13). For Imperial Supplies, Good took six wickets for 72, Granger two wickets, and Dunlop two wickets. Imperial Supplies in their second innings lost four wickets for 160 (Lynam 16, Taylor 66, not out, Granger 50, not out). For Old Boys, Boesley and Bull secured two wicket^ each.

College IV. v. Petone : College's first innings realised 86 runs (James 21). Bold bowled the best for Petone. Petone went in and made 171 runs (Bold 37, Edwards 32, K. Rodger 21, Duncan 24, W. Rodger 17, Corner 11). Bowling for College, Johnson and Morris shared the honours. College in their second innings made 102, James, not out, 41, being the best rungetter. W. Rodger and Corner were the most successful of the Petone trundlers. Petone went in again, and had, at the call of time, - two wickets down for 30 runs (Edwards, not out, 19)— a threepoint win by eight wickets for Petone.

Marist Brothers defeated Central Mission by 85 runs. Marist declared at 215 for six wickets. Bowles, not out, 120, Sheehan 40, Ryan 18, Williams, not out, 17, were the best scorers. Central Mission went in and made 130 runs (Tidman 39, Keyes 21, Osborne 19, Hedges 13). Bowling for Marist, Watson took eight wickets for 56 runs, and for Central Mission, Osborne throe for 28.

In the match St. Thomas's v. College, College batted first and made 75 (Tolhurst 18, Herd 13, Fisher 12). St. Thomas's replied with 178 (Bell 86, Grenside, not out, 20, Lawrence 17, Alexander 12, Faber 11). Bowling for St. Thomas's, Turvey took eight wickets for 16 runs, and Bradshaw one for 11. St. Thomas's thus won by 103 rune—a two-point win.
