PRICE DROP IN LONDON
REMARKABLE REDUCTIONS.
The Daily Mirror lately published an interesting list of prices. In its issue of 18th September appeared the following : Women's gowns, office coats, and skirts were on sale yesterday in the West End as low as from £3 to £1 10s; during the war a navy blue coat and skirt fetched as much as £6.
The Profiteering Act is therefore having its effect.
Black wolf stole compared well at the present price of four guineas against the war price of eight. Smoked fox collar could be purchased for 29s 6d, against last week's price of 32s 6d.

Paris model hats in exclusive shades and shapes showed a downward tendenoy. An orange and gold ostrichfeathered toque was "tabbed" four andl a- half guineas, and the £8 scored through.
The streets in the West End were alive with shoppers.
