GENERAL SEELY RESIGNS

LONDON, Uth November. Major-General Seely, of the Air Minis try, lias resigned. -
[Prom 1912 to 1914, Major-General Seely—then Colonel—was Secretary of State for War. On 26th March, 1914, Sir John French and Sir J. S. Ewarfc resigned from ' the Army as a protest against the Government's action in connection with Ireland, and Colonel Seely followed by resigning his post as Minister for War, which Mr. Asquith then assumed. Colonel Seely served in France, and was promoted Major-General in 1918. He became Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Munitions in 1918, and Undersecretary of State for the Air when the new Ministry was formed in January, 1919. He is 51 years of age.]
