MISS BUTLER'S ENTERTAINMENT.
A most entertaining programme hae been arranged by Miss Mary Butler for her recital in aid of the Basilica Hall Fund, to be held in the Town Hall Concert Chamber on the evenings of the 16th. and 17th October.^ There will be novelties galore, including a spectacular Egyptian scene, a quaint nursery Grieze fantasia, and among other equally charming ensembles will be the living statuary scene (so successful at l'aat year's recital), in which, effective grouping will be introduced. A bevy of Wei-1 lington's prettiest girls are taking part, and the frocking and stage decorations will be on an elaborate scale. Tile incidental music ■will be provided by Mr. Frank Johnston's orchestra, and an entertainmeEt both novel and interesting is in store. : "
